our story
In 2025, Rhythm Church was born in the living room of Nathan and Rachel, built on a dream to see the city of Cincinnati come alive with the hope of Jesus. After serving for 13 years on the west side of Cincinnati, then serving as Executive staff for a brand new church launch in Kansas City for nine years, they recognized God leading them to keep building His church. What started as a handful of conversations quickly grew into a team united by a shared purpose—to build a church where anyone and everyone could authentically follow Jesus, know Him, be transformed, find true purpose, and make a difference. Today, Rhythm Church is home to people from all across the Tri-State area, extending further to form a diverse community across cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, family dynamics, and marketplace professions. You’ll meet a wide variety of people from all walks of life, all walking in the same direction, together towards knowing Jesus. We’re an imperfect community, brought together by God’s grace and driven by a single mission: to love Jesus and make Him known in our city.
From the beginning, Rhythm Church is focused on reaching people who don’t know Jesus, on building relationships through small groups, on praying passionately, and helping people fulfill God’s call on their lives.
Today, God is at work at Rhythm Church, and we enjoy doing life together. We are excited to keep making a difference in our city, nation and world, and we hope that you will come on the journey with us!

sent
Being "sent" to start a new church is rooted in God’s direction and the support of the church community. In Acts 13:2-3, the church in Antioch prays, fasts, and lays hands on Paul and Barnabas, recognizing that the Holy Spirit has called them into mission. This moment shows that starting a new church is not about personal ambition, but about stepping out in faith to fulfill God’s purpose. The church doesn’t just send; it walks alongside those chosen, affirming and empowering them for the work ahead. It’s a reminder that when God calls us, He also sends us with the support and prayers of the community behind us. Nathan and Rachel were approved by ARC (the Association of Related Churches) and then sent out by the elders of Radiant Church to start Rhythm Church in Cincinnati, OH.
